—Vaxar

Info[]

Appearance[]

He has long black hair and grey eyes. He has a grey high-low, single breasted coat with silver buttons. He wears black trousers and leather black boots.

Normally, he would have two white wings, but after receiving back his god powers along with Celestia's, he got six white wings

Personality[]

If you met him after he moved to Lor’dencia, he’d seem like he was a kind and just man that cared for his students in the Magic Academy of Lor’dencia, but is also very serious, sometimes a little flirty, but not towards students. And yes, he is truly like this, his motivations does not truly change his morality. Sometimes, he’s a little too serious, but either way, he always stays calm under any circumstances...sometimes a little too calm.

Powers[]

Nigh Omnipotent[]

He wields almost supreme power, but he has some form of limitation/weakness that limits his power and prevents them from gaining true omnipotence. He may be absolute on specific fields and not others or may simply be able to achieve an almost limitless number of effects across all fields with their near-omnipotent skills.

Meta Magic[]

Background[]

When Vaxar was a young god in the First Era, he looked down upon the world from the Aerial Galaxy and saw everything. Wars, discrimination, murder, every evil imaginable; it disgusted him, and yet he felt pity for them. He wondered on how humanity could ever stoop so low? How could humanity ever be saved from itself? Only one answer came. Destroy them. Reap the evil and let the righteous prevail.

When he was an adult, he decided to transverse the Astralverse to see the people firsthand. The first world was the planet Caeleste, in the kingdom of Ledon. He was immediately disdained by the sight of it; slavery of Faunas under the rule of the Laicasters. For some time he knew about the Laicasters, and he didn’t like the idea of them. After, he traveled to other worlds, mostly those that the Laicasters ruled, and he felt the same towards them. He decided that he should indeed wipe the evil in the Astralverse, along with the Laicasters, and he started in Ledon.

Before he could begin his rampage, his mother, Celestia, the Goddess of Chaos stopped him, declaring he should leave the humans to themselves and not interfere. After several more times of disobeying her, she stripped him of his title as a god and banished him from the Spirit Realm, letting him fall to the face of the earth. That earth was Caeleste, and he plummeted from the sky into the Royal garden of Ledon.

After being unconscious for the very first time is his now mortal life, for several days, he finally woke up from his slumber, and found himself a guest of the very kingdom he sought to destroy, due to the pity of King Phillip IV. As he recovered, he got to know the two royal children (Victoria II and Margret II) and recognized their plight, especially from being the offspring of the one named Rachel Laicaster, the Queen Consort of Ledon. How unfortunate of them. He saw how unfavorably the children were treat by the Queen Consort, specifically the older child named Victoria II, and, after gaining enough trust, he offered the king to tutor the girls in the ways of magic, to which the king agreed. As he taught them, he grew more and more close to them, and even became Victoria’s confidant as she grew older. And as she grew older, he watched as she became more and more formidable with her training in magic, and in combat as she trained with the Captain of the Royal Guard of Ledon, Gabriel. Vaxar had the bright idea, that this girl will definitely be able to help him kill Celestia so he can get his powers back.

And in 325 TE…he was right. He had no idea how she was able to, but she managed to kill the direct spawn of the Creator of the Astralverse himself, the most powerful of all the Celestial Gods…the one problem…is that whoever kills a god gets their powers. Meaning, Despite helping Victoria kill Celestia, he still didn’t get his rightful title as the Celestial God of Destruction back. That title went to Victoria. And it was at that moment he knew, he fucked up.

He didn’t want to kill this girl he grew a bond with ever since she was young. And even if he wanted to, he couldn’t. The only reason Celestia managed to die, was because of Victoria, there was no way he could kill her all by himself. He decided dwelling on it wasn’t worth it, and while forever being driven by that goal, he decided that it was better to live his life peacefully until he found a solution. He followed Victoria to another planet called Auroria—upon her request—as she formed the queendom named Lor’dencia, in 326 TE.

From the years he tutored the girls in Magic, he grew fond of teaching. In 2587 TE, he established a private magic school in the capital of Lor'dencia: Esterwall; which he appropriately named The Magic Academy of Lor'dencia. It was extremely successful and he became expanding his educational empire. Opening schools and universities for regular and higher education besides magic. Grace Sherwood, the former Headmistress of the palace in Ledon, became a upper secondary school teacher; and Richard Rose, a former scientist in Ledon applied to be a upper secondary science teacher. And because Richard, Grace, and (not really) Vaxar, were all from Ledon, they became close friends.

Because the school was doing well and Victoria proposed that by the age of fifteen, students should be taught combat, to they could protect the throne, so what happened in Ledon wouldn’t happen in Lor’dencia. Vaxar didn’t like that idea but she was the queen...

Years later, Vaxar watched as Victoria finally got married and they got a happy little boy named Aradheldor. It wasn’t five years later when Vaxar found out that her husband was murdered, and he slowly saw as she turned like her own mother. Vaxar watched as Victoria began treating Aradheldor like she was treated by her mother, and he remembered why he wanted to get rid of the Laicasters. However, he couldn’t do anything...

Aradheldor was admitted to Esterwall University at the age of twelve and Vaxar saw how much the young prince changed. It saddened him, as he couldn’t bear to ever see a child like that. Five years later, after an incident between the young prince and Professor Rose’s daughter, Vaxar finally took it upon himself and took the prince into his own care. Even though he angered the queen they both agreed that the prince would be given back when he was eighteen, which was in several months. He wished he could have the prince forever so he wouldn’t go back to the queen ever again. He treated the prince like he was his own son and soon...those several months passed, and he gave the prince back to the queen, reluctantly. After the whole experience, Vaxar was inspired to help other children in Lor’dencia who was as bad off as Aradheldor.

Many, many years later, he adopted two of his students, twins named John and Scarlett Madison after they killed their abusive father in self defense. While they were in his care, Vaxar married Grace Sherwood and for years, they didn’t parent their own children but together, they fostered and adopted others. Until Grace wanted her own.

During that time, when Grace was pregnant with their first child, another war was going on. A world war. Vaxar, as he always did, watched in the sidelines. Vaxar, again, as always, knew that the other kingdoms did not, that a Ghuul, one of the very creature that Professor Rose helped create in Ledon, was going to kill them all if they didn’t end their petty personal affairs. Then, Rose was dead, so he couldn’t help.

What peeked his interest is that one of Lor’dencia’s (albeit former) allies also knew about the threat of the Ghuul. What also peeked his interest, is what that ally was going to kill the Ghuul with: the Relic of Power. Vaxar had a Relic of Knowledge locked up under the Magic Academy of Lor’dencia, but he wasn’t aware of a Power Relic. While the war was going on, Vaxar used the Relic of Knowledge to know more about itself and the other relics. He found that, if he gathered the five relics together, he would unlock the power of the universe. And with that power, he could kill Victoria and continue his sole goal, to destroy the Astralverse.

After the war, several years after in fact, Vaxar found out about Aradheldor after so long. He found out that he lost in the world war and was locked in a dungeon under one of the palaces of Lor’dencia. Vaxar visited the former prince and former King of Lilebeth. After 3787 years...he would finally see him again. After exchanging friendly greetings, Vaxar told Aradheldor, that if he would help him get the other four Relics, Vaxar will help him escape Lor’dencia and take back Lilebeth and in the end, Vaxar will kill Victoria. Aradheldor agreed, but mostly because it involved Victoria dying.

Trivia[]

  • He was originally set to be a wizard toymaker that lived alone in the woods. And after I decided he was going to be a headmaster who was a Celestial God, he was also originally going to be a good guy, but you know, I changed that; making him a antagonist actually tied some lose ends for me.
  • Fun fact: he was inspired by Herr Drosselmeyer from the ballet “the Nutcracker”.
  • In previous revisions, he was going to be Victoria’s lover, but thankfully I scrapped that.
